La Minuta Little Havanas Fish sandwich

Cuban Fish Sandwich

The Little Havana’s Classic Minuta Sandwich

Growing up in Little Havana was a great experience and the start of my culinary journey because I grew up with my grandparents, my grandfather “Tutu” and my Tia Dora loved food and taking we with them to eat and listen to stories about growing up in Cuba.

A Minuta Sandwich is a delicious Cuban sandwich that is also known as "Pan con Minuta"

.It is a fish sandwich made with a butterflied filet of Snapper fish, with the tail still in place. The fish is deep-fried in a light batter until golden brown. The sandwich is then topped with chopped tomatoes and onions and served on a Cuban bread roll with a tangy tartar sauce

The Minuta Sandwich is a popular dish in Miami, particularly in the vibrant neighborhood of Little Havana

. It can be found in various restaurants and food vendors throughout the city. One highly recommended spot is La Camaronera Fish Market, which is known for its signature Pan Con Minuta

The restaurant's Minuta Sandwich is so good that it has gained recognition from the world-famous chef Guy Fieri on his show "Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives"
